AWARD CEREMONIES
All students will be receiving a “Certificate of Completion” for their grade level. We will also be recognizing students who are recipients of awards nominated by their teachers. Award Ceremonies will be held during school hours in our gym. We ask that you do not bring balloon arrangements or any type of noise makers. All Award Ceremonies are dignified ceremonies, so we want the ceremonies to be a great experience for all. We ask that student attire be their Sunday best. No jeans allowed. If a student does not want to wear Sunday best, he/she may wear his/her uniform.

UNIFORM DONATIONS
Col. John O. Ensor Middle’s motto is “One Voice—One Heart—One Team.” We are true to our motto and will do whatever it takes to help a child in need. Therefore, we are holding a Uniform Donation Drive. This is open to all students of every grade level. The first 100 students who bring in 3 uniform polos (white, navy, or red) and 3 uniform pants or shorts (white, navy, or red) to the counselors on May 20th and 21st will receive a bracelet. Each student who wears the bracelet will be allowed free dress on May 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. Free dress means that the student may wear whatever he/she desires as long as he/she is following the SISD Dress Code Policy as stated in the SISD Student Code of Conduct.
Donated uniforms must be in good condition and already washed. Ensor Middle School has grades 6, 7, and 8. Our students range from ages 11-14. We are looking for uniforms that will fit this age group. Please call our counselors if you have any questions. Mary Acevedo (A-L) can be reached at 937-6013. Diana Aguirre (M-Z) can be reached at 937-6014.
REGISTRATION
On April 29th, registration packets for the 2013-2014 school year were sent home. We are asking you to complete and return the paperwork to register your child for the 2013-2014 school year. If all paperwork is filled out completely and correctly, your child will receive a schedule in the mail and will not have to report to registration in July. Your son/daughter can simply report to school on the first day of classes! Incomplete packets will not be processed. Please return complete packets in the envelope to your son/daughter’s English teacher by Friday—May 10th. Please call Lupe Galvan at 937-6009 if you have any questions.
