The Socorro Athletic Department is very proud of the entire SISD Coaching staff.  These ladies and men have dedicated many extra hours to the needs and betterment of our student/athletes.  Many put in numerous hours of their own time to help improve the students of Socorro ISD.  Every coach carries a full teaching load as well as their coaching duties. In selecting the coaching profession, coaches must be dedicated to their profession.  Financial gain and personal reward are secondary considerations.  A justification for including the athletic program in the total school curriculum is that athletics provides both physical and character values for those who participate in them. The SISD coaches are to help maintain the highest possible standards in athletics and the coaching profession. To be a SISD coach is to take on the responsibility of changing a life.  One of the fundamental responsibilities of a coach is to inspire the players to achieve academic success. Not only to make good grades, but to secure a well rounded high school education and graduate with honors.
