My name is Aaron Castro, CTED/ReadyOne Instructor.
My class/program is very unique in the whole district. I train how to use industrial sewing needle machines to special education students. I have students from several high schools and they come here to get their training in this specific field. The goal is to prepare graduates special education students with the necessary work skills they need in order to be employed byReadyOne Industries right after graduation.
This could not be possible without the assistance of Mr. Cuomo whom shares his expertise with students and help them to acquire the tools they need.
Our students are stitching their way to a new career path, and overcoming barriers of employment.
