The school counselors at El Dorado 9th Grade Academy believe:

 

All students can succeed.

All students will have an opportunity to achieve their academic, social and personal goals.

All students will have an opportunity to build on their 40 developmental assets.

All students have access to a full-time, certified, master’s degree level school counselor.

 

And that the El Dorado 9th Grade Academy’s Counseling Program:

 

Is comprehensive in scope

Is developmental in nature

Is an integral part of total educational program for students’ success. 

Has a delivery system that includes school guidance curriculum, individual planning, responsive services and system support.

Collaborates with all students, teachers, parents and staff.
