School Information Welcome back 2012-2013 School Year Ms. Elliott – Assistant 6th – 8th Ms. Jimenez – Assistant 3rd – 5th Ms. Velasquez – Assistant Pre-Kinder – 2nd 11530 Edgemere Blvd. 937-4400 Parent School Safety Guidelines For the safety of the children and to adhere to the capacity requirements, parents will not be allowed into the cafeteria during breakfast or lunch. Parents are welcome to wait with their children outside until the student is picked up by their teacher. District policy requires parents to have a criminal background check in order to have regular contact with the students. Our main goal is safety and we appreciate your cooperation with this. YWCA Daycare Pickup Parents may now park in the back and enter the cafeteria from the back at the courtyard when picking up students from the YWCA program. This will allow us to lock the front doors to insure the safety of the students in the program. Parent Involvement Education is a partnership between home and school. We value parent involvement at every level and encourage you to partner with us. We would like to encourage parents to complete the volunteer packet. The packet includes a background check for the safety of our children. This documentation will allow you not just to volunteer, but to chaperon school functions. Pre Kinder Procedures Pre Kinder students will report to the west end of the school building. Students will be escorted by their parent/guardian to the Pre Kinder school bus for pickup and drop off.
