Dear Parents and Students,
At bottom of this page, you will find a link to download a packet of information letters from the COSMOS Academy. It is important that you read and discuss all of the information since it explains many of the aspects that make our block such a unique magnet program at Socorro High School. We ask that you and your child sign the COSMOS Packet Verification Sheet 2011-2012 found at the end and return it to the school by August 12th. Please initial next to the items you received to verify that you have read and understand the information. If you have any questions, you are encouraged to call the school (937-2000) and speak to any of the COSMOS teachers. Students will turn in the verification sheets to the following teachers:

COSMOS strives to provide students with a well-rounded educational experience. Field trips and social events are a part of what we offer. In order to provide transportation and food for these events, we hold one fundraiser every year. Our students need dedicated parents who can help with fundraising efforts, field trips, etc. We’re happy to extend to all parents an invitation to become involved. Please consider giving some of your time to our efforts. It’s an excellent opportunity to involve yourself in your child’s education. Information for our first fundraiser will be distributed soon.
We feel that the best education possible can be attained when the students, teachers, and parents work together as a team. Therefore, we invite all parents to continue their involvement in education and look forward to meeting all parents. You are always welcome at the school.
