Health care is more than doctors and nurses there are also engineers, illustrators, public relations professional, computer experts and more than 410 careers. Health careers are one of the fastest growing industries in El Paso, jobs are steady, well payed, and command respect. Health Professions Academy (HPA) at Socorro High School gets you started in a hurry!
Quick Start to Success The Health Professions Academy is more than a high school it is really a partnership between S.I.S.D., area colleges, universities, and health care facilities. You will be part of a total experience that puts you on a quick start to success.
Small Classes, Great Friends HPA classes are interesting. You get lots of extra attention from teachers who care an extra amount. Lectures are kept to a minimum. Instead you'll get practical experience solving problems in small groups. The Health Professions Academy is a "School within-a School" at Socorro High School. However, the program is open to any student in the Socorro Independent School District. HPA is a great way to make friends that will last a lifetime. |
