The campus is named after Colonel John O. Ensor. It opened its doors in July of 2000 serving a population of students in grades 5th thru 8th. The current enrollment is approximately 940 students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades who come from its neighbor Horizon Heights Elementary and Dr. Sue Shook Elementary.
