Congratulations to the William D. Slider Middle School Starlet Cheerleading Squad.  They competed at the National Cheerleader Association Senior and Junior High School National Championships in Dallas, Texas on December 28 and 29, 2006.  Close to 200 squads from across the United States competed in different divisions.  The Starlets brought home the Innovative Choreography Award, and 1st Place National Champions Title in the Non-Mount Junior High Division.  Each girl received a letterman jacket and team trophy for their performance.  This is the second time the squad has received this award.
