School Information

The Socorro Independent School District is committed to addressing the needs of all students.  Instructional programs in SISD are committed to helping each child meet the academic and intellectual competencies expected at each grade level and become active, engaged learners in a classroom setting.  Each grade level encourages critical thinking, creativity, and respect for self and others.  Curriculum standards are what all SISD students are expected to know and be able to do by the end of a school year.  Socorro ISD is proud to educate more than 34,000 students each year.  Students who will be the teachers, scientists, community leaders, business people, and parents of the 21st century.
