    Dear Parents/Guardians:

Next week, April 17th through the 21st our 8th grade students will be taking a technology exam as required by the state. The exam will occur on Monday, April 17th and continue through Tuesday, April 18th. Students will be taken to the labs for testing through their 8th grade PE and CTE classes.

Also occurring next week, our 8th grade students will participate in a Digitally Nurturing Academics (DNA) camp with technology specialists from the district. Through their ELAR classes students will learn about the following topics: Digital Citizenship, Office 365, and OneNote. We are very excited to provide this DNA Camp for our 8th grade students. This is a great opportunity for them to interact with some of the technology tools and resources that they will be using at Eastlake High School and all other SISD high school campuses. The camp will begin on Wednesday, April 19th and continue through Friday, April 21st. This camp will help prepare our students with the skills needed to be globally competitive and college ready.

If you have any questions about the events occurring next week for the 8th graders, please do not hesitate to contact the school at 915-937-6000.

Thank you for your continued support,

The Staff at Ensor Middle School

    • SAFETY
      • Safety is the number one priority at our campus.  We ask that you have all of your information updated at our campus so that you are immediately contacted in the event of an emergency.  As a friendly reminder, a photo identification card is required to pick up your child from school.  Please arrange to have your child picked up on time after any event or activity from school to include tutoring, dances, games, meetings, and concerts.

      • Please remind your child that Ensor hoodies may be worn on campus.  However, all other hoodies must be removed upon entering the building.  Failure to do so could result in the hoodie being confiscated.  Jackets and sweaters must be unzipped or unbutton when in the building.  This is for safety reasons.  We want to be able to identify our students.  We are a uniformed school, and we expect our students to follow the Dress Code Policy approved by the School Improvement Team.  Our Dress Code Policy can be found on our web page.
