Attention Parents/Students:
This past summer the Texas Legislature passed a new law that requires classroom teachers to assign a grade that reflects the student's relative mastery of an assignment; and a classroom teacher may not be required to give a minimum grade. Beginning January 4, 2010 students will no longer receive a minimum grade of 50 on their report cards in any subject area the first nine weeks of a semester. Whatever grade you have earned, you will receive!
