About Us

  • Home of the Warriors, Salvador H. Sanchez Middle School, opened its doors in August 1990. It is one of two middle schools opened that year by Socorro ISD and was the first middle school in El Paso County, Texas to be accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
     
    Serving students in grades 6 through 8, the school was named in honor of Salvador H. Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez was a longtime advocate of quality education in Socorro ISD, and a former member of the board of trustees. The school had the unique privilege of educating the grandson of its namesake, bearing the same name.
     
    Mission Statement:
    At Salvador Sanchez Middle School: ALL WILL LEARN; ALL WILL RESPECT; ALL WILL SUCCEED.

    • Lined loose leaf paper 1 pack
    • Pens (1 of each):
      • Black
      • Red
    • Pencils at least 2
    • Pencil Sharpener
    • (that collects shavings) 1
    • Highlighters at least 1
    • 12in. Ruler 1
    • Kleenex 1 box
    • Parents please keep in mind that Teachers may ask for additional items throughout the school year.

    DRESS CODE:

    • Red, Black or White Polshirt (red and black must have the Sanchez School logo)
    • Khaki or Black UNIFORM Pants, black jeans are allowed, but they cannot be faded, they MUST be black
    • The following are NOT allowed:
      •    Skinny, leggings, jeggings, shorts, anything above the knee, torn jeans or pants, cargshorts or pants.
      •    Tight clothing of ANY kind
