About Us

  • Home of the Warriors, Salvador H. Sanchez Middle School, opened its doors in August 1990. It is one of two middle schools opened that year by Socorro ISD and was the first middle school in El Paso County, Texas to be accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Serving students in grades 6 through 8, the school was named in honor of Salvador H. Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez was a longtime advocate of quality education in Socorro ISD, and a former member of the board of trustees. The school had the unique privilege of educating the grandson of its namesake, bearing the same name.

    Mission Statement:
At Salvador Sanchez Middle School: ALL WILL LEARN; ALL WILL RESPECT; ALL WILL SUCCEED.
