  • The faculty and staff at Jane A. Hambric School do not tolerate bullying behavior of any kind (verbal, physical, social or cyber) on our campus. Please report all bullying incidents to an administrative member or counselor immediately.

    The definition of bullying as stated in the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program is: Bullying is when someone "REPEATEDLY" and on purpose says or does mean or hurtful things to another person who has a hard time defending himself or herself.

About Us

  • Jane A. Hambric School opened its doors in July of the year 2000.  The school was named after Jane A. Hambric, a journalism teacher who taught at Socorro High School for many years.  When Americas High School opened in September of 1996, she was excited to begin the first journalism class for the new high school in the district.  Jane A. Hambric died of a heart attack in 1997.  Jane A. Hambric School is the Home of the Hawks who 'Soar to Success'.  Our school motto is, "Fly with the rest or SOARRRR with the best!  Hawk Pride!
