About Us

  • Jane A. Hambric School opened its doors in July of the year 2000.  The school was named after Jane A. Hambric, a journalism teacher who taught at Socorro High School for many years.  When Americas High School opened in September of 1996, she was excited to begin the first journalism class for the new high school in the district.  Jane A. Hambric died of a heart attack in 1997.  Jane A. Hambric School is the Home of the Hawks who 'Soar to Success'.  The motto for the 2014-2015 school year is "What happens at Hambric, changes the world"!

  • e-HAC Update for Parents
    The Tyler Parent Portal has replaced e-HAC which is also a web-based student information system that provides parents/guardians real-time access to monitor and stay informed of their student(s) progress in school. This portal is now available. The username and passwords parents/guardians used for e-HAC can also be used for the new Tyler Parent Portal or can be obtained by visiting your student(s) school.
