  • Did you know?  If you do not practice your math and reading skills over the summer, you could lose up to 3 months of development that you worked so hard to gain this year.  Make sure to log in your reading minutes for the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge (click on the picture below.)  Students were given their usernames and passwords at the end of the year; if you need help contact Mrs. Sanchez at emorel@sisd.net.

About Us

  • Helen Ball Elementary School is located in the Socorro Independent School District in El Paso, Texas. It opened its doors to students in July of 1995 and presently serves a diverse population of over 900 children, grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Our students attend school year-round with breaks in October, December, March and June. Our school is named for the late Mrs. Helen Ball, a dynamic and vibrant elementary teacher who served the Socorro School District for many years.
