It’s hard to believe but it’s that time of the year again- the beginning of a new school year! Welcome Back! I want you to know that I am very happy to have your child in my class. It is going to be an exciting and fun year.
Wewill all learn to work and grow together given time and encouragement. I believe in creating an environment for my students that is positive, safe, creative and fun and that children learn best in an atmosphere of comfort and where they feel successful.
I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2003. I have been teaching Special Education for 8 1/2 years. I have 7 years experience in Early Childhood Special Education and this is the start of my second year teaching Resource/CWC, and I love it! My style of teaching is a multi-sensory approach where children are actively engaged in the learning process.
Your help and support are needed in making your child’s best year in school! I am looking forward to a great year! I consider it a privilege and responsibility to be your child’s teacher this year and look forward to working closely with you and your child.
