    Please join us for our Annual Open House @ Americas High School for information, student performances, and fun! This will take place on August 29th beginning @ 5:00 PM and ending @ 7:15 PM.

About Us

  • In 1987 Myrtle Cooper Elementary School was opened  as a PK-8th grade school. The school was named for the late Myrtle Cooper who served as the Socorro Independent School District's first superintendent in 1961.
