The University Interscholastic League (UIL), which operates as part of the University of Texas, sponsors educational extracurricular academic, athletic, and music contests.  Furthermore, the UIL provides protocols, suggestions, and guidelines regarding outdoor practices in athletics and other extracurricular activities. Also, the UIL offers access to important health and safety information for student athletes, parents and coaches.
