Robert R. Rojas School History

Robert R. Rojas Elementary is named after a former trustee, Mr. Robert Ramirez Rojas. He joined the SISD Board as a Trustee in 1968. During his early years, he worked diligently to establish a bilingual program to ensure our Spanish speaking children could learn English. Aside from promoting equity in students' educational experiences, he also focused on providing quality facilities and better salaries for teachers.

The year 2017 marked our 30th Anniversary of serving students, parents and our community!
