    There are many opportunities out there for ALL students to get scholarships to continue their education. There are scholarships for 4 year institutions, 2 year institutions, and trade schools. Some take as little as a few minutes.

    Amount Awarded: Up to $16,500 (associate’s degree) & $33,000 (bachelor’s degree)

    Deadline: February 2023

     

                    Requirements:

    • Have graduated or will graduate with a high school or GED diploma or a community college associate degree by the end of the 2022-2023 academic year
    • Have a current DACA or TPS authorization or came to the country before November 1, 2016, and otherwise meet the DACA criteria; and
    • You must qualify for in-state tuition at one of our public partner colleges

                    Requirements:

    • U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident
    • Graduating Senior from a Texas high school
    • Minimum 3.0 GPA

    Amount Awarded: $1,000 - $8,000 Per Year

    Deadline: November 1, 2022 & March 1, 2023

     

                    Requirements:

    • Graduating high school in the Class of 2023
    • Submit University’s online scholarship application
    • Be admitted to UTEP by November 1, 2022 or March 1, 2023
    • Enroll full-time in courses that are part of the student’s degree plan

    • Graduating minority HS Seniors
    • United States Citizen
    • Present evidence of financial need
    • Demonstrate a record of academic excellence
    • Demonstrate leadership potential and a dedication to community service
    • Submit an official SAT and/or ACT test exam score from junior or senior year
    • Plan to attend an accredited and approved  4 year college within the United States or affiliated with a United States- based college or university
    • Have not accrued more than 25% of credits needed to graduate from college

    • Eight years of Army Service with requirements for active duty in the army, and/or serving in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard, depending on the scholarship
    • You may be eligible to serve part time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursing a civilian career immediately after graduation.
