Fathers Making A Difference

    Watch Dog Dads

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is an innovative program focusing on education and safety in schools by using the positive influence of fathers and father-figures for a two-fold purpose:
    • to provide an unobtrusive fathering presence
    •  to provide a positive and active role-model for students at school
    Who Are Watch DOGS?
Dads Of Great Students are fathers and father-figures (grandfathers, uncles, and other male adults) who are asked to spend at least one day at their student’s school volunteering as a positive role model. Their mere presence may offer additional security at the school during the day.
Watch DOGS actively engage with not only their student(s) but the entire student body. They are asked to help with a variety of activities which may include:
    • patrolling the school campus
    • assisting with traffic
    • monitoring lunch and recess
    • helping students with assignments
    • and being a role model
