    Carol Montoya has served in education for 29 years in various capacities.  She has been a secondary teacher for 12 years and an elementary, middle and high school assistant principal for 6 years.  She was also an elementary and PK-8th grade campus principal for 8 years.  As a proud member of the State and Federal Programs Department, she serves the parent and family engagement program to build capacity by empowering family members to be active participants in their child’s education. 

    She currently oversees the following:
    • Parent and Family Engagement liaisons at each campus
    • Title I Crate compliance for Title I, Part A
    • Stand and Deliver 2.0
    • Parent/Family Engagement Capcity Building Initiatives
