Announcements

  • A message from Ms. Cuevas,

    Americas High School Principal

Thank you, parents, for all you do each day with your child during this unique time of remote learning. I hope we reunite our school family soon. But until then, know that as your child works through the lessons, it is up to you as a family to decide when to stop the lessons for the day. The purpose of remote learning is not to frustrate them or you in the process, but rather just to provide them with learning opportunities. They will not be penalized for not completing all work given during the course of a week. As always, please reach out to us to let us know how we can assist you in any way. I'm always available for any questions you may have. Please remind your child that if they are enrolled in a Dual Credit Course, they must abide by EPCC/UTEP grading guidelines.

    Sincerely,

    Patricia Ferdinand-Cuevas

    Proud Principal of Americas HS

Endless Opportunities

About Us

  • Located on the far eastside of El Paso, Americas High School opened its doors in September 1996 on a desert plain just waiting to be populated with new homes and businesses. Being a new school, the student body consisted of seventh, eighth, and ninth graders under the principalship of Mr. Tony Baca. Forever recorded in history, that ninth grade student body became the first graduating class at Americas High School in May 2000.
