    Raquel “Rachel” Tarango is part of the Administrative Services team. Rachel started out as a volunteer prior to her employment at Myrtle Cooper Elementary as a Teacher Assistant. Previous to her employment in SISD she worked for a local clothing manufacturer as a Customer Service Representative working herself up the corporate ladder to Product Manager and Assistant to the Vice President of Sales working alongside two New York Clothing Designers. Her expertise range from special events coordination, city-wide festival planner, conference planner (local, regional, state and national) to leadership skills trainer. She is a frequent presenter at El Paso Community College for the International Education Program. Rachel is the proud mother of two young men who are business owners in the El Paso area. She holds a Masters of Business Administration in Technology Management, a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and an Associates of Applied Science in Child Development.
