2019-2020 Boundary Adjustments
The Socorro Independent School District provides a safe and supportive learning environment for all students to ensure they are receiving the highest caliber education. The district offers well-maintained, secure campuses for students to have a comfortable and positive learning experience. As the district continues to grow rapidly, Team SISD constantly monitors population trends and housing development to be prepared and in position to offer students the best learning facilities.
Boundary adjustments have been approved for the 2019-2020 school year to maximize the use of existing facilities while providing great learning opportunities for all our students. The plans were carefully crafted taking into consideration many aspects, such as staffing, transition periods, student transportation, and potential facility renovations. In planning for the adjustments, Team SISD’s priorities are to be good stewards of all resources and to respect families in the existing school communities.
