The Socorro ISD Counselor Externship Program is a partnership with Region 19 to help high school counselors gain access to employers in high demand, high wage industry sectors in El Paso County.
Externships will be placed in middle-skill related jobs (no college degree required) with the hope that counselors are able to speak from experience as they advise students on educational and career goals.
Eligibility: Must be a new high school counselor.

The externship session will be June 16th and June 20th from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Lunch is included.
