    Our mission is to foster a community of learners through a STEM and college-credit-based education founded on collaboration, creativity, and rigor, in order to prepare students for further post-secondary education and career opportunities.

  • The Montwood High School SYNERGI4 STEM Academy (SYNERGI4) is the older branch SYNERGI4 STEM and P-TECH Advanced Academy which has been in existence since 2017. It is a small learning community within the Socorro Independent School District (SISD) that utilizes a curriculum that is experiential in nature and reflects real world applications that allow students to develop 21st century skills of competency, collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creative thinking. 

    While not too different from its newly-founded P-TECH Academy counterpart within the SYNERGI4 Advanced Academy at Montwood High School, beginning the 2022-2023 school year, the STEM Academy will serve students in the Engineering pathway, continuing the long tradition of excellence in areas connected to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).  STEM students will continue to expand their opportunities in college-credit-based opportunities at Montwood High School while having the option to seek Advanced Placement (AP) courses.
