    Our mission is to foster a community of learners through a STEM and college-credit-based education founded on collaboration, creativity, and rigor, in order to prepare students for further post-secondary education and career opportunities.

  • The Montwood High School SYNERGI4 P-TECH Academy is the latest addition to the long-standing support for students seeking to extend their learning experience through advanced courses at Montwood High School. Through the P-TECH Academy within the Synergi4 Advanced Academy, students can pursue an Associates in Science in Nursing by taking a course sequence that will allow them to obtain the degree through El Paso Community College.  It is a small learning community within the Socorro Independent School District (SISD) that utilizes a curriculum that is experiential in nature and reflects real world applications that allow students to develop 21st century skills of competency, collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creative thinking. 

    While not too different from its predecessor and co-academy pathway, the T-STEM Academy, beginning the 2022-2023 school year, the P-TECH Academy will serve students in the Biomedical pathway, continuing the long tradition of excellence in areas connected to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
