What is a Learning Management System?
An LMS is a comprehensive teaching and learning platform that connects students, teachers, parents, and administrators. Teachers can make learning content accessible to students from anywhere and at any time in Schoology. Students can access this learning content as well as submit assignments, assessments, and other class work within the LMS. This class work can be graded within the LMS and be used as part of their final average grade in the Tyler grade book (official SISD grade book)
Currently, your child’s campus is one of four selected to participate in the district pilot to introduce parents to Schoology. Beginning October 27, 2022, the district will use the email it has on file to share your Schoology username and password. You will use this username and password to log in to your newly created Schoology account at https://app.schoology.com. Once logged in, you will have access to your child’s Schoology Courses.
-
What is Schoology and Why are Teachers Using it?
