2022-2023 and 2023-2024 Approved Boundary Adjustments
Socorro ISD provides a safe and supportive learning environment for all students by offering well-maintained, secure campuses for a comfortable and positive learning experience. As the district continues to grow rapidly, Team SISD constantly monitors population trends and housing development to be prepared and in position to offer students the best learning facilities.
Boundary adjustments have been approved by the SISD Board of Trustees for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years, which will include implementation of the new Eastlake area Elementary and Middle combo school and maximize the use of existing facilities. The plans were carefully crafted and took many aspects into consideration such as staffing, transition periods and student transportation. In planning for the adjustments, Team SISD’s priorities were to be good stewards of all resources and to respect families in the existing school communities.
SISD Board approves boundary adjustments for 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years
