    Librarian Appreciation Day - April 17, 2020

    "Find Your Place @ Your School Library"

    Sun Ridge library is celebrating National Library Week by having a writing contest. Students will write one of the following: a poem, short story, persuasive text, reflection, personal narrative, etc., about how the library or reading has changed or impacted their life. The piece of writing can be about a library, reading, a librarian, a teacher, a favorite author, a favorite character in a book, etc. The winners (one student from each grade level) will be announced on April 24, 2020. The winners will receive a $50.00 gift certificate for the April 27th - May 1st, Scholastics Book Fair.

    Also, a trivia contest will be conducted April 13 - 16. There will be four winners, one winner for each question answered correctly. Each winner will receive a $10.00 gift certificate from the Scholastics Book Fair and a poster of their choice. Stop by the library and put your answer in the box labeled "SRM Generals". Be sure to number your answer to correspond to the numbered question. Good luck to everyone!
