    All 8th grade students are invited to a virtual night to discover the academies that SISD high schools offer. Students must register for the event to receive the meeting link.

    Dates are December 1st and 2nd, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM.

    In the best interest of our students and staff of Socorro ISD and out of an abundance of caution, Socorro ISD will delay the return of school.  All school activities are cancelled until further notice.

  • Updated Meal Services

    SISD will provide breakfast and lunch services Monday-Friday. 

    • One meal per child for each meal service.
    • Children or parents must show school ID for their children. 
    • Meal service will be walk up or drive through.

    Breakfast & lunch served at one time from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.

About Us

  • Our school was named after Mr. Bill Sybert a former Superintendent for Socorro ISD who worked to equalize state funding for poor districts.  Mr. Sybert died at age 72.
     
    Bill Sybert School first opened its doors in 2002.
