  • Greetings from the Principal

    Dear Blazer Nation,

As I reflect on this past week, I am reminded of a quote that states , “you are the artist of your own life. Don’t hand the paint brush to anyone else.” It resonates with me because so often we allow the world around us, social media, or  our friends to dictate our decisions. But I think it’s important that we remain true to ourselves and hold onto the dreams of the person that we want to be. Do not allow the noise of the world or something as silly as a TikTok challenge to influence the greatness that is yet to come in your life. Instead, seize every opportunity for you to show kindness and make a positive difference in this world.

    Sincerely,

    Patricia Ferdinand-Cuevas

    Proud Principal of Americas HS

Endless Opportunities

Trailblazer Early College: Welcome Class of 2025

About Us

  • Located on the far eastside of El Paso, Americas High School opened its doors in September 1996 on a desert plain just waiting to be populated with new homes and businesses. Being a new school, the student body consisted of seventh, eighth, and ninth graders under the principalship of Mr. Tony Baca. Forever recorded in history, that ninth grade student body became the first graduating class at Americas High School in May 2000.
