School Improvement Team (SIT)

The purpose and goal of the SIT Committee is to help improve educational performance at Sun Ridge Middle School. Any interested faculty, staff, or community member may attend, but only elected/appointed members may cast votes. An agenda will be distributed at each meeting, and suggested items to be addressed by the committee should be submitted before each meeting. Items should be related to the goal of the committee as stated. Minutes will be taken and distributed to all faculty and staff. Meetings will be posted on the campus calendar. SIT will consist of one representative from each department. Parents and district personnel will also be involved.
