Welcome to SGT. Roberto Ituarte! Your child will be attending a campus known for its excellence both in and out of the classroom. Ituarte Elementary consistently outperforms the state of Texas in student achievement for math, reading, writing, and science¹. We are one of the highest performing elementary schools in our area, having been awarded an A rating and four distinctions by the Texas Education Agency, as well as, a Gold Award by Lone Star State School Counselor Association (LSSSCA).

Aside from providing excellent academic opportunities, our campus is recognized for providing a wide variety of clubs and award-winning extracurricular activities.  Ituarte has been awarded 1st Place in Destination Imagination, 1st in SISD for Team Quest, 2nd Place for Teamwork at the Robotics Lego League and district recognition for science fair in the 2019-2020 school year alone.

Additionally, our campus focuses on nurturing the whole child. Our Knights learn  respect, integrity, and excellence every day through our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) approach.
