Hello, my name is Edward Martinez and I am the School Counselor here at Loma Verde Elementary. I am now completing my 16th year as a counselor at this amazing school! Before this, I was a Bilingual Teacher at Robert Rojas Elementary School. I am truly blessed to be not only at this awesome school, but in this terrific Socorro Independent School District. Our school has had great success through the years because of the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice shared by all of our students, teachers, volunteers, and staff. We could not have this success without our outstanding parent and grandparent support.

Students, as we embark on this new year, through this pandemic, remember that we will go through difficult times and make many mistakes, but do remember that we are in all of this, together! Together we may overcome any obstacle or challenge. Do your best, complete your homework/projects, ask questions, participate, help others, share ideas and concerns, and most importantly, treat others as you would want to be treated, be kind. Remember that we come to school to learn, feel safe, and have fun! This may be accomplished either through online learning or being pesent on campus.
