Montwood Middle School

 

The Gifted & Talented program at MMS considers not only academic achievement but multiple intelligence theory and the social and emotional needs of our students. This program was planned so that all students will benefit. There will be plenty of opportunity for group discussion but also individual work and time for quiet thinking. We are a project-driven program, and this year our students are doing something unique and wonderful.  Our kids are working on self-created, self-driven projects.  The students have a say in every part of their project and are being guided by teachers throughout the process.  Students are excited about this new, unique opportunity to truly delve deeper into their interests and strengths.  We hope to see some amazing student-created projects this year!
