Football is a game that provides a unique support to learn about life.

Football builds character and provides an opportunity to learn about self-discipline, commitment, teamwork, adversity, and courage.

The El Dorado Football Program believes coaches not only have a responsibility to teach our scholar athletes, but also to satisfy their emotional needs.

Winning is secondary to the development of our young men!

However, this does not mean winning is not important!  

Winning is and will ALWAYS be the objective of every football game, but it is never as important as making the EFFORT to win!!  

Success is found in the journey, not in the destination!

Traditionally, young men are better citizens and will make a better contribution because of their participation in football.
