Pebble Hills High School started off as El Dorado Ninth Grade Academy (ED9) in 2010. The school opened its doors to 915 students during the 2010-2011 school year under the leadership of Principal Troy T. Byrne. The campus originally became the first ever ninth grade academy in the Socorro ISD. The academy served predominantly middle class families and the northeast portion of Socorro ISD. It is with great excitement that Pebble Hills High School opened its doors on July 2015. The high school serves 9th/10th/11th grade students in the year 2016-2017 and will be adding on a grade each year until it has all four grade levels.
