Academic Framework
Sgt. Jose F. Carrasco Elementary opened its doors to scholars from around the world in August 2018. To support our students, the 5 endorsements under House Bill 5, pathways to college transition, will be supported utilizing Project-Based Learning (PBL), Technology-Based Learning and College and Career-Ready Skills. The Fundamental 5 is a framework for success, a set of best practices which support these pathways. Our educators will use the Fundamental 5 daily to guide students towards success academically, socially and emotionally. Utilizing the Fundamental 5 as the overarching framework, the structures, programs and plans that will be infused into our everyday academic, social and emotional learning environment over time are as follows:
- House Bill 5 Endorsements
