  • This summer the H. D. Hilley Library is combating the Summer Slide. 

    We are challenging each student to read for 20 minutes a day during our summer break. 

    Take a picture of your child reading, with the cover of the book visible, during the summer months and post it on Twitter with the hashtags #HDHMustangsRead and #DestinationSISDReads

    Also, plus tag Ms. Morales @rmorales_HDHES and Mr. Miranda @HDHilley_ES in your post. 

    We would love to see you reading at home, on vacation, in a park, or at grandma’s house!

    We would love to see you wearing your #TeamSISD t-shirt in your pictures.

    to the office, to complete their

    child's registration. 

    Daily Registration is being offered this year.

  • H.D. Hilley was established in 1980. Our campus was named H.D. Hilley in honor of Harvey Dixon Hilley, a dedicated leader in the Socorro Independent School District and a district president for 20 years.  Our school colors are blue and red.  We are the proud home of the H.D. Hilley Mustangs.
