    Help us encourage learning all summer long with our:

    Amazing Summer Reading Raffle Flyer

    Two separate raffles and two ways to enter!

    The more entries students get, the better the chance of winning. We will be giving away bikes, skates, art kits, toys, skateboards and games. 

    Summer Reading Bingo Card

    Students in PreK - 1st grade can play along on our Summer Reading Bingo Card. Students must respond to the Bingo square on our Flipgrid. Each response on Flipgrid = 1 entry.

    Students in grades 2-5  can also play using our Summer Reading Bingo Card, PLUS they can take AR tests. For each point that students earn, they will be entered into the raffle (13 point book = 13 raffle entries.)

About Us

  • Helen Ball Elementary School is located in the Socorro Independent School District in El Paso, Texas. It opened its doors to students in July of 1995 and presently serves a diverse population of over 750 children, grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Our students attend school year-round with breaks in October, December, March and June/July. Our school is named for the late Mrs. Helen Ball, a dynamic and vibrant elementary teacher who served the Socorro School District for many years.
