Mission Early College High School was named a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School on Oct. 1 2018. Secretary of Education Betsy Devos made the announcement via video through the Department of Education website.
MECHS is one of only 349 schools across the nation to be recognized this year. Mission was also acknowledged as a Blue Ribbon School in 2012. Schools from across the country are nominated and then access a strenuous application process that includes data, test scores, creative strategies, school culture and more.
