    The Socorro Independent School District (SISD) is located on the far east side of the city of El Paso. SISD is one of the fastest-growing and most innovative school districts in Texas. We are educating over 47,200 students, which includes over 6,035 military-connected students. We proudly share with you that 45 out of our 49 state-of-the art schools are designated by the Texas Education Agency as “Purple Star” Campuses.
