About Us

  • Montwood Middle School is a center of activity and enthusiasm since July 14, 1997, when the doors opened to sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students, their parents, and teachers.

Montwood Middle, along with Elfida P. Chavez Elementary School, share library and cafeteria facilities which make the transition from elementary to middle school smooth and exciting. Montwood Middle School is known as The Home of the Mighty Moose, which had a successful dedication program and reception in May, 1998.
