Our teamwork and laser-sharp focus on academic excellence has resulted in tremendous success for our students! For the third consecutive year, Team SISD surpassed the state average in all 17 STAAR exams and by an even larger margin in spite of increased passing standards. Over the last four years, the state has increased 13 cumulative percentage points, whereas SISD has jumped 136 percentage points in the grade 3-8 STAAR exams.

Team SISD’s great progress has garnered widespread recognition with accolades, such as the Region 19 Board of the Year, Texas Honor Board, HEB Education in Excellence district finalist, and the Region 19 Superintendent of the Year. We are humbled to earn these awards, and attribute the success to our students, teachers, parents, and staff who have worked tirelessly to Achieve Success as a Team!
