  • Saturday Camps

    Puentes Middle School will be holding Saturday Camps to help prepare our scholars for the upcoming testing events.

    The list below is of all the Saturday Camps that are presently scheduled. 

    Times: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

    Parent please assit us in getting your scholars to the Saturday Camps. Look for permission slips to be sent home and return them as soon as possible. If you have any questions about your scholar attending the Saturday Campas, contact their CORE ecucators.

About Us

  • We are located at 3216 Tim Foster, the middle school was named after Manuel R. Puentes, who attended Socorro Elementary School and was a 1969 graduate of Socorro High School. Puentes was raised in Socorro with his family of 15 brothers and sisters. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. In 1971, the patrol unit he served in was ambushed in South Vietnam and Puentes went missing in action. Several years later the Army classified him as killed in action.
