Socorro ISD, Immunize El Paso providing COVID-19 vaccines

The Socorro Independent School District, in partnership with Immunize El Paso, is providing COVID-19 vaccines for ages 5 and up. Here is the schedule:

Monday, March 28
4 to 6 p.m. Socorro High School, 10150 Alameda Dr.

Wednesday, March 30
4 to 6 p.m.  Americas High School, 12101 Pellicano Dr.

First, second, third, and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be available. Meningitis vaccinations also will be available for high school seniors as part of Immunize El Paso’s Vaccinate Before You Graduate program. To register or for more information: go.izep.org/kids

COVID-19 vaccines updates and news for SISD community

The Socorro Independent School District is committed to providing the COVID-19 vaccination to individuals who wish to receive the vaccine as part of efforts to help Keep SISD Safe and mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

The district has made COVID-19 vaccines available to students, employees, and community members through the SISD Employee Health Clinic and through partnerships with Immunize El Paso and other community agencies.

SISD will continue to provide vaccine clinics as the vaccinations are available and information on community vaccine distribution sites to ensure individuals who wish to get the shot have an opportunity to do so.
