Parents in the Socorro Independent School District may access their child’s State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) report card by visiting the online Texas Assessment Data Portal.
The Texas Assessment Data Portal can be found at www.texasassessment.com. The interactive website allows parents to view their child’s STAAR assessment performance, student progress, the level of reading, and STAAR performance labels. Other resources include tools to support a child’s ability to read and write, as well as tips and questions to help prepare for parent-teacher conferences in the new school year.
To access the STAAR report card, parents will need their child’s date of birth, the social security number or S-number, and an access code which can be found on the Texas Assessment website. To look up the access code, users can select the option “look up access code”, insert the child’s first name, social security number or S-number, birth date and select the option “Go”. Once parents have been granted an access code they can log in to view their child’s STAAR report card. Reports can be viewed by clicking on the testing subject or selecting the option “download PDF report” at the top right-hand corner.
Schools will issue STAAR report cards at the beginning the 2018-2019 school year. For more information, please contact your child’s campus.
