Public Meeting to Review Federally Funded Programs

The Socorro Independent School District will conduct a meeting by teleconference to review the following 2020 – 2021 ESSA Federal Grants:

• Title I, Part A - Improving Basic Programs
• Title I, Part C - Migrant Education Program
• Title II, Part A – Preparing, Training and Recruiting High Quality Teachers, Principals or Other School Leaders
• Title III, Part A – Language Instruction for English Learners
• Title IV, Part A – Student Support and Academic Enrichment

The next regular meeting of the Board of Trustees has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. This meeting will be held by teleconference. The teleconference audio can be accessed at the following toll free number: 1-866-899-4679 using the access code 165-769-453 and through an audio feed located at https://youtu.be/pAtU7VRLwQk. Any member of the public wishing to comment on an agenda item can send the comments to the following email address board-questions@sisd.net.
